Nis-Spec 1st Weekly Blog – August week 4.

Welcome back to our weekly update from Nis-Spec 1st, your trusted Nissan dismantlers here in Welshpool. Each week, we’ll share a glimpse of what’s happening in the yard, the vehicles we’re working on, and some interesting Nissan facts along the way.

This Week in the Yard

This week, we began dismantling a Nissan Navara D40 that came in with some issues. The Engine, Gearbox, interior, and Some panels are in great condition, so plenty of parts will be hitting our shelves soon.

We also started work on a Nissan Pathfinder. Unfortunately, this one suffered from chassis corrosion issues, which is a common problem with these models. Luckily, many of its mechanical and interior parts are still in great condition and ready to be reused.

All parts go through our inspection process before being listed, and of course, every part comes with our 90-day warranty for peace of mind.

Spotlight Part of the Week

Our most-requested item this week has been :- Alternators for the Nissan Navara. These fly off the shelf quickly, so if you’re in need, give us a call before they’re gone.

Did you know the Nissan Pathfinder was originally launched in 1986 as a two-door SUV before evolving into the practical four-door family 4x4 we know today? Despite its rugged design, many older Pathfinders in the UK now suffer from corrosion problems – which is exactly why we see them arriving at our yard.
